Terms and Conditions

1. Full payment must be made 4 weeks prior to the date of the course.

2. School Councils UK reserves the right to vary the content, timing and location of the course if necessary for reasons beyond their control.

3. School Councils UK accepts no liability if for whatever reason the course is cancelled except for a full refund of the course fee or an alternative course.

4. Non-residential courses: We will accept a cancellation of confirmed bookings up to 28 days before the event, provided that we have received your written notice of cancellation by that date. The fee paid will be reimbursed less a £25.00 administration charge

5a. Non-residential: No refund will be made for bookings cancelled less than 4 weeks before the event or for non-attendance on the day, unless in exceptional circumstances. A transfer to a future training event might be possible, although a fee of £15.00 will be incurred.

5b Residential courses: If notice of cancellation is received a) more than 28 days prior to the course, the fee will be refunded less a 10% cancellation charge; b) between 10–28 days prior to the course, the fee will be refunded less a 25% cancellation charge; c) Less than 10 days prior to the course 50% of the fee will be refunded. It may be possible to send a substitute delegate. In this instance a £25 administration fee will be charged.

6. If a delegate wishes to transfer to another course with less than 10 days notice before their course is due to start, this may be possible. However, in addition to the course fee a charge of 10% may be made to cover the expenses incurred.
