In school training

This is when one of our trainers will spend the day in your school working with staff and students to meet your school council needs. The day can be followed with a twilight session for staff. We can also cater for small groups of schools.

School Councils UK has a team of experienced trainers who can come to your school and deliver training for students and staff, tailored to your needs.

Your in-school programme can include:

- Training with school council members
- Training with class/year councils
- Training with teachers and SMT
- Twilight training for all staff

Training Prices

Each of our trainers work with up to 25 people for a full day (9.00-15.30). The cost of each trainer is £650 per day for primary schools and £700 for secondary schools. The cost of training a group of up to five schools is £850.

Staff twilight sessions (of up to one and a half hours) cost an additional £115.

This price includes the following:

  • All travel, accommodation and administrative expenses incurred by School Councils UK
  • Training resources for all participants
  • School Councils UK Toolkit and DVD
  • Follow-up telephone consultancy (12 months)
