Thinking about Travel to school: A School Travel Plan...

  • A School Travel  Plan. Tackle all your school travel issues with a School Travel Plan. It could help you to get extra funding. Your local council will have someone who can help you start a plan.
  • Walking and cycling produce no CO2. They are the greenest ways to travel to school. Could you also walk or cycle to events that are close to school, like swimming lessons and football matches?
  • Consider limiting school parking to those that really need it. This may sound really radical, but if people could not park in school it would make a big difference. Try a ‘park and stride’ scheme if some parents really need to drive.
