Thinking about Buildings and Grounds: See where you can plant more trees...

  • As well as being relaxing to look at, plants and trees are also Nature’s air conditioning system. Some, like the London Plane, filter the air and, of course. all plants they capture carbon dioxide and turn it back into plant material. 
     So, see where you can plant more trees.

  • Have a look at whether you can get a grant for some renewable energy technology (see page 15 about funding) - if your school is going to be rebuilt or re-furbished, that would make it even more cost effective!
