School Councils UK is a not-for-profit organisation (reg charity no:1090137) working towards developing and improving vital life skills of young people, improving school communities and strengthening teacher/pupil relations.  We do this by ensuring that young people are fully engaged in the democratic process and the decisions that impact upon them.

School Councils UK has a very wide reach within the education sector and currently:

  • Have resources in over 50% of all UK schools
  • Train over 3,000 teachers, pupils and Local Authority staff a year
  • Receive 60,000 visits to our website annually
  • Have had over 4,000 education institutions join our School Councils Network

We are always seeking sponsors to partner our excellent work and support the development of new opportunities for pupils and schools.
