Run Dem Crew Youngers

run dem crewHave you got what it takes to be a leader? Would you like to access funding to run your own project?

Run Dem Crew Youngers is looking for young people from 14 – 21 years old to volunteer and create their own running crew in their local community. Known as a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for encouraging young people in your area to come together and run as a group, while sharing creative ideas and taking part in creative sessions.

RDCY wants to create a generation of young runners, and give you the potential to unleash your talents as a leader. Would you like the opportunity to do something positive in your community and encourage your friends and peers to get active? You will receive training and qualifications through our leadership programme and have the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills.

Crew leaders will receive funding of up to £500 from UnLtd to cover any costs you may incur when running your crew. UnLtd is a charity which supports social entrepreneurs - people who want to change the world for the better.

If you're interested in applying or finding our more about RDCY  then please go to the RDCYwebsite, where you can apply to be a leader.

Closing date for for applications is July 2012.

Successful applicants will need to attend an all London Crew Leader induction.
