Accreditation scheme

  • Acceditation scheme

School Councils UK are considering starting a school council standard. Whereby schools can apply for a stamp of accreditation, marking their school council at a bronze, silver or gold level. There will be some self-evaluation as well as possible externel assesment and the school council will need to meet certain criteria to gain their accrediation. What does everyone think about this? Are there any problems that you can predict?

Great idea, something we would be very interested in.

I really like the sound of this, our school council could do with the boost this would provide because they currently do not get the recognition they deserve.
